Who We Serve

Immokalee is a small rural town just 45 miles east of downtown Naples, Florida. Located in northern Collier County, Immokalee is home to many immigrant and migrant families who work the fields under harsh conditions to provide much of the nation’s tomatoes and other produce.

Understanding our Community

Immokalee’s demographics are in sharp contrast to the rest of Collier County, with a median household income of $25,720; nearly 50% below the State’s median. 45% of the hardworking, proud people in this community find themselves living below the poverty line, and 99% of students qualify for free and reduced lunch.

We believe our long-term mentoring efforts can make a significant difference in raising the aspirations of young people growing up in this unique and special community.
